C&W: Property Nears Full Occupancy Under Rugby Realty’s Ownership

LYNDHURST, N.J., May 14, 2015 – Healthcare technology firm MDx Medical, Inc., which operates as, has signed a 21,000-square-foot headquarters lease at CityView Corporate Center in Lyndhurst, announced Cushman & Wakefield. The commitment brings the 160 Chubb Ave. property to 96 percent occupancy just one year after its purchase by Rugby Realty Co.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Curtis Foster and Jerry Shifrin, based in the commercial real estate services firm’s East Rutherford, New Jersey, office, serve as exclusive leasing agents for CityView Corporate Center. Michael Staskiewicz of Lee & Associates represented the tenant in negotiating its long-term lease., which connects patients with health care providers, will relocate to CityView Corporate Center from another Lyndhurst address in an expansion move. Its database includes more than 1 million doctor, dentist and medical facility profiles and over 5 million doctor ratings and reviews.

Rugby Realty, based in New Rochelle, New York, purchased the three-story, 135,400-square-foot CityView Corporate Center as its first New Jersey asset in late 2013. Located on 8.36 acres, the building was constructed in 1979, and renovated in 2006 and 2012. The lease is the latest in a series of new leases and renewals at the property during the past 12 months. Foster noted that tenant demand remains robust as the building nears full capacity.
