Ike’s Bagel Café, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa to Occupy 4,800 Square Feet at Eastman-Managed Shopping Center

LIVINGSTON, N.J., April 2, 2015  – Two new tenants occupying a combined  4,800 square feet of space are set to join the retail mix this spring at The Village in Livingston in Livingston, N.J.  The new tenants include Ike’s Bagel Café (2,100 square feet) and national chain Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (2,700 square feet). The 93,000-square-foot shopping center is managed and developed by Livingston-based Eastman Companies.

David Perlmutter of Perlmutter Properties negotiated the long-term leases on behalf of Eastman. Alison Cohen of Winick Realty Group NJ represented Ike’s Bagel Café; Florian Suserman of Ripco Real Estate Corp. represented Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.

“The mix of stores, services and restaurants at The Village at Livingston makes it one of the most dynamic retail destinations in all of Essex County,” said Peter Schofel, Eastman’s co-managing partner. “Ike’s Bagel Café and Hand & Stone represent two new retail categories that greatly enhance the diversity of the center’s existing tenant base. We are very excited about the one-stop shopping experience that continues to develop here.”

One of the fastest-growing spa franchises in the country, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa offers professional massages – including Swedish, deep-tissue, sports massage and its signature hot stone massage – along with customized facial and hair removal services.  A monthly Healthy Lifestyle Program allows clients to enjoy regular massages and facials at a price that fits their budget.

Family owned and operated, Ike’s Bagel Café will offer hand-rolled bagels along with other breakfast favorites including omelets, pancakes, home fries and breakfast sandwiches/wraps, as well as healthier menu options made with egg whites and turkey bacon. Ike’s lunch menu will include wraps, panini sandwiches, hamburgers, homemade salads and soups, fresh squeezed juices and daily specials. Patrons can dine in or take out, and local delivery and catering will be available.
