Off-Price Retailer Occupies 11,000 Square Feet at Levin-Managed Center

WATCHUNG, N.J., Apr. 6, 2015 – Leading off-price retailer Tuesday Morning recently celebrated its grand opening at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung. The 419,000-square-foot Somerset County shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by Levin Management of North Plainfield, N.J.

“We always strive to deliver the latest and best retail offerings for our shoppers, and Tuesday Morning represents another outstanding option for value-conscious consumers who live and work in the community,” said Marcia Minton, Levin’s leasing representative for Blue Star Shopping Center. “We are confident Tuesday Morning will make a major contribution to the ongoing success of this property.”

Based in Dallas, Texas, Tuesday Morning provides an ever-changing selection of brand name, high-quality merchandise – including home accessories, housewares, seasonal goods, toys, pet accessories and gifts – at prices well below those of department and specialty stores, catalogues and online retailers.

Located on the heavily traveled Route 22 retail corridor, between Terrill and Bonnie Burn roads, Blue Star Shopping Center serves a growing residential population of more than 250,500 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of $138,500 and the daily traffic count is 60,000 vehicles. Anchored by Kohl’s, ShopRite, Marshalls, Michaels and Toys ‘R’ Us, the center’s impressive tenant lineup includes Avenue, Becker Brothers, Dollar Tree, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, GameStop, GNC, Petco, Hibachi Grill, Joyce Leslie, The Children’s Place and TGI Fridays, among others.

Retail availabilities at Blue Star Shopping Center range from 1,000 to 19,000 square feet.

Levin Management also recently orchestrated a lease for Tuesday Morning at Paramus Place in Paramus, N.J., where it serves as leasing and managing agent. Levin is one of the nation’s leading retail real estate services firms, with a strong focus in the northeastern United States and an owner’s approach to the business. The firm offers a full range of services for a diverse portfolio that encompasses approximately 95 properties and more than 13 million square feet, including leasing, property management, accounting, construction management and marketing. Levin serves properties ranging from neighborhood, community, lifestyle and power centers, to enclosed malls, street retail, downtown stores and mixed-use projects in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia and North Carolina.
