Cushman & Wakefield New Agent for Two Class A Office Buildings
Firm to Provide Services for Assets in E. Brunswick, N.J., and White Plains, N.Y.
EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., March 10, 2010 - Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has won two new agency assignments in East Brunswick, N.J., and White Plains, N.Y., announced Gualberto "Gil" Medina, the commercial real estate services firm's executive managing director for New Jersey. The assets together include nearly one million square feet of institutionally owned, Class A corporate space.
In East Brunswick, the firm is handling both leasing and property management for the 424,946-square-foot Tower Center II. The 24-story landmark building sits on 14 acres at Exit 9 of the N.J. Turnpike, with direct access to routes 1 and 18.
Executive Director Joseph Sarno and senior directors Jeremy Neuer and Robert Dinner from Cushman & Wakefield's Edison, N.J., office are heading the property's leasing team. They are marketing units ranging from 5,000 square feet to three full floors of 27,000 square feet each. This includes the building's 24th floor, which offers 22,000 square feet and incredible views.
Tower Center II features a five-story glass atrium, corporate-quality dining, a full-service bank branch with ATM, 24-hour on-site security, a seven-level parking deck, and high-tech building systems including destination-based elevators and dual power feeds. An interconnected, 400-room Hilton Hotel offers a full-service health club, indoor swimming pool, two restaurants and shuttle service to regional airports.
Tenants at Tower Center II benefit from the building's location adjacent to an NJ Transit bus hub, which offers direct access to Manhattan. The property is located just minutes from New Brunswick, 20 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport.
"Tower Center II truly is a trophy-quality building," Sarno noted. "Its accommodations, amenity package, and location mid-way between New York City and Philadelphia combine to offer the best of everything in the Central New Jersey market."
Cushman & Wakefield's Eileen Carey, director of Client Solutions, is heading the two-building assignment's property management component. Portfolio Manager Bob Stark is supporting on-site property managers at Tower Center II.
In White Plains, Cushman & Wakefield also is serving as property manager for the 532,192-square-foot Gateway One. The building sits within the city's high-profile CBD. Client Solutions Director Cliff Mortara is overseeing the onsite management team for that property.
Medina served as the point person in pursuing the agency appointments. "This is an exciting assignment for our firm," he said. "Tower Center II and Gateway One are considered to be premier assets in their respective markets. We look forward to upholding and enhancing quality of service at both properties."
