Cushman & Wakefield Promotes Marc Rosenberg to Vice Chairman
25-Year Company Veteran has Seen Industry - and Firm - Evolve to Global Scale
MORRISTOWN, N.J., March 3, 2010 - Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has promoted Marc A. Rosenberg of Short Hills, N.J., to the position of vice chairman, announced Joseph Harbert, Cushman & Wakefield's New York Metropolitan Region chief operating officer. A 25-year company veteran, Rosenberg is based in the firm's Morristown office.
Rosenberg continually ranks among Cushman & Wakefield's top 20 producing office brokers globally. He represents AT&T on an exclusive basis in New Jersey and throughout AT&T's Northeast region. Since 1993, he has completed transactions totaling more than 30.25 million square feet on the telecom giant's behalf. Rosenberg has represented many additional major corporations in New Jersey, some of which include MONY, Cadbury Schweppes, CommonHealth, Hewlett Packard, Virgin Mobile USA, Time, Inc. and BASF.
According to Rosenberg, Cushman & Wakefield's evolution during his time there has paralleled shifts in business and commercial real estate. "This industry has experienced dramatic changes over the last 25 years," he said. "Cushman & Wakefield's platform has grown during that time from a regional focus to a network of resources and people that enable me to successfully meet my clients' needs on a national and, today, global scale. This company continues to move in the same direction as the marketplace."
Rosenberg's achievements and involvement in high-profile commercial real estate transactions have been recognized both within Cushman & Wakefield and by outside organizations. He is a three-time recipient of his firm's National Deal of the Year award. The Morris County Economic Development Corporation honored him with its Real Estate Broker Award four times, and he also has won NAIOP-NJ's Deal of the Year award.
Currently, Rosenberg serves on Cushman & Wakefield's Global Advisory Board; its National Tenant Rep Board; and its National Teleco, National Compensation and New Jersey Advisory committees. "Marc's leadership at Cushman & Wakefield reflects his commitment to promoting quality within our organization, which translates to superior service for his clients," Harbert noted. "He remains a key contributor as we continue to grow our corporate services platform, and his new title attests to his value to our team in New Jersey and companywide."
Rosenberg holds bachelor's and master's degrees in finance. He is a past member of the Union County Planning Board and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel. Additionally, he is an avid basketball player and fan, serving as a member of the 1981 Gold Medal winning basketball team in the Maccabiah Games in Israel.
