Andrew Parella Joins Cushman & Wakefield in Morristown, N.J.
15-Year Industry Veteran Brings Brokerage, Development Experience to Team

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Feb. 1, 2010 - Office leasing specialist Andrew Parella has joined commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. as a director in the company's Morristown office, announced Gualberto "Gil" Medina, the firm's New Jersey executive managing director. A Summit, N.J., resident, Parella has 15 years of industry experience, including a deep background as a tenant and landlord representative in the Northern New Jersey market.

Parella comes to Cushman & Wakefield from the M. Alfieri Co., where he served as director of leasing for a 10.2 million-square-foot portfolio. These holdings included 2.2 million square feet of Class A office space and 8 million square feet of office, warehouse, hotel and residential development projects in New Jersey and Florida. Parella also was responsible for corporate banking relations, mortgage financing, and acquisitions and dispositions there.

Previously, Parella worked for five years at Cushman & Wakefield's Manhattan headquarters. His past employers also include CBRE and National Westminster Bank, PLC.

"Andy's well-rounded expertise on both the brokerage and development sides makes him an excellent addition to our Morristown office," Medina noted. "We look forward to his contributions as an integral member of our leasing team."

Parella is working with a group of brokers headed by Cushman & Wakefield vice chairmen Bob Donnelly and Marc Rosenberg. The team consistently ranks among Cushman & Wakefield's top producers nationally.

"The opportunity to work with Bob and Marc, and the chance to return to a great company with such an impressive global platform were the keys to my making the move to Cushman & Wakefield," Parella said. "I believe that this is an ideal time to get back in the market."

Parella is a licensed salesperson in New Jersey. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University.
