THE MAX Challenge to Open Feb. 5 at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, N.J.
Members of the Community Invited to Attend Grand Opening Event on Feb. 4

WATCHUNG, N.J., Jan. 29, 2018 – THE MAX Challenge will hold its official grand opening at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung on Mon., Feb. 5. Members of the community are invited to attend a “kick off orientation” on Sun., Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. to learn more about THE MAX Challenge concept, and meet the new facility’s trainers as well as individuals who have successfully completed the program. Levin Management Corporation (LMC) of North Plainfield is the 420,000-square-foot property’s exclusive leasing and managing agent.

THE MAX Challenge is a 10-week body transformation system designed to make fast and lasting changes to an individual’s health and overall appearance, according to Mario G. Cesario, who co-owns the Watchung franchise with his business partner, Wendy Castro. The duo has owned THE MAX Challenge in Cranford for the past three years. THE MAX Challenge concept combines group fitness classes with nutrition counseling, support and motivation.

“Part of what makes THE MAX Challenge so unique is that this program can benefit anyone, regardless of age or fitness ability,” said Cesario. “In any one of our classes you will find a wide variety of different participants, including both men and women, older individuals and people with varying levels of athletic ability. It’s a very holistic and non-intimidating approach that meets you exactly where you are in your fitness journey; our focus is to give every participant an amazing experience and empower everyone in the program to meet their goals.”

THE MAX Challenge in Watchung will be open Monday through Friday with class times scheduled for 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. For more information, visit www.themaxchallenge.com or call (908) 838-5331.

Blue Star Shopping Center’s convenient Route 22 location and diversity of tenants made it the ideal choice for Cesario and Castro to open their second MAX Challenge franchise. “Blue Star Shopping Center has tremendous name recognition and is well-known throughout the community. We are excited to be affiliated with the center and look forward to introducing THE MAX Challenge to members of the community,” he said.

Anchored by Kohl’s, ShopRite, Marshalls, Michaels, Toys ‘R’ Us/Babies ‘R’ Us, Blue Star Shopping Center’s lineup of retail, restaurant and service tenants includes Tuesday Morning, Dollar Tree, Avenue, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, GNC, The Children’s Place, GameStop, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Sally Beauty Supply, Hibachi Grill and TGI Fridays, among others.
