Newest Member of Seasoned Team is Focused on Office Leasing

EDISON, N.J., Dec. 4, 2015 – Matthew Scozzari has joined Cushman & Wakefield as an associate in the commercial real estate services firm’s Edison office. The Kinnelon, N.J., resident brings four years of commercial real estate experience to his new position.

Scozzari is focusing on office leasing as part of the Cushman & Wakefield team headed by Paul Giannone. With more than 75 combined years of commercial real estate experience, the group specializes in office leasing, serving institutional, development and corporate clients. Its members have completed billions of dollars worth of lease and sale transactions, and have established an impressive resume representing major corporations for both advisory and brokerage services. Additionally, they handle leasing agency assignments for some of the region’s leading property owners.

“Joining Cushman & Wakefield and this team, in particular, is an incredible career opportunity,” Scozzari said. “The company has the best reputation in the business, and I am working with professionals whose individual and combined track records speak volumes.”

Scozzari previously worked as a leasing agent and property manager with The Azarian Group and as a sales associate with Terri O’Connor Realtors. He also held an inside sales position with Water Works Supply Company. Scozzari earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management from William Paterson University.

“We continue to add talent at all levels, and Matthew is a great example of the junior brokerage professionals we are bringing on board – those with the knowledge and drive to become the next generation of industry leaders,” said Andrew Judd, New Jersey market leader.

The successful merger of Cushman & Wakefield and DTZ closed September 1, 2015. The firm now operates under the iconic Cushman & Wakefield brand and has a new visual identity and logo that position the firm for the future and reflect its trusted global legacy and wider history. The new Cushman & Wakefield is led by Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Brett White and Global President Tod Lickerman. The company is majority owned by an investor group led by TPG, PAG, and OTPP.
