Fast-Casual Mexican Restaurant Will Occupy 2,100 Square Feet

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 21, 2015 – Fast-casual restaurant Chipotle Mexican Grill has leased 2,100 square feet at Crossroads Place in Falls Church, Va., announced North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management, exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 336,000-square-foot shopping center.

Jake Frantzman, Levin’s senior leasing representative, negotiated the long-term lease. Kelly Silverman of Streetsense served as tenant broker in the transaction.

“Crossroads Place offers a great location in a high-demand marketplace, and national retailers like Chipotle recognize the center’s strategic benefits,” said Frantzman. “This is a very well-shopped center with a fantastic lineup of retail, service and restaurant tenants. Chipotle is a leader in its category and a tremendous traffic-driver, and we are excited to welcome them to Crossroads Place.”

Chipotle first opened in 1993 and currently operates more than 1,000 restaurants. The chain was founded with the idea that food served fast did not have to be a typical fast food experience. Today, Chipotle continues to offer a focused menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere.

Located at the heavily traveled intersection of Leesburg Pike and South Jefferson, Crossroads Place serves a growing residential population of more than 575,000 people and a daytime population of nearly 336,000 within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $123,400, and the daily traffic count is about 60,600 vehicles per day.

Anchored by a Giant food store and Burlington Coat Factory, Crossroads Place features a mix of more than 20 regional and national tenants including Cost Plus World Market, HomeGoods, T.J.Maxx, Mattress Warehouse, Advance Auto, Foot Locker, Office Depot, Snips Etc., CiCi’s Pizza, Longhorn Steakhouse, Einstein Bagels, PNC Bank, Starbucks and The Olive Garden.

One restaurant space, measuring 9,975 square feet, will be available at Crossroads Place in August 2016.
