Greg Dembek Re-Joins IBS in Totowa as Senior Field Engineer
Clifton Resident Augments Growing Managed IT Services Team

TOTOWA, N.J., June 23, 2015 – Greg Dembek has re-joined Integrated Business Systems (IBS) in Totowa as senior field engineer in the technology firm’s Managed IT Services division. IBS initially hired the Clifton, N.J., resident in 1999 – the same year it launched the division; he spent 15 years there prior to temporarily relocating out of state.

“We are thrilled to have Greg back,” noted IBS President Michael Mullin. “Our Managed IT Services offering is growing significantly, and we are strengthening our team with experienced network technicians. Greg is not only highly competent but is deeply familiar with IBS and our clients.”

IBS is a 36-year-old boutique firm that offers a full suite of technology consulting and support services for small- and mid-size businesses in diverse industries. The company fills the role of internal CIO, helping its clients stay on top of what they need to keep their systems current and create competitive advantage. This includes comprehensive expertise in everything from mobile devices and individual workstations, to enterprise servers.

IBS senior field engineers work directly with clients, providing consulting, design, installation and support for their computer and networking technologies. “Technology continues to change quickly, and one of the best things about IBS’s approach always has been its commitment to embracing powerful new and proven products,” Dembek said. “This sets us apart and ensures that IBS customers always have the most reliable and current IT infrastructure and tools.

“Back in 1999 when I started here, there were no mobile devices or cloud computing – both of which are absolute game-changers for doing business,” Dembek added. “Additionally, issues like cyber security and business continuity have become vital considerations. IBS serves as a technology partner to help navigate the complexities and opportunities, and it is gratifying to be on the front line in filling that role for our clients.”

Founded in 1979, IBS also sells and supports accounting and property management software. The company consistently has remained a recognized New York/New Jersey-area leader in this niche, providing unique and best of breed services and solutions. In 2015, IBS partnered with Acumatica, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. This strategic affiliation enables the firm to offer Acumatica’s financial management system to regional companies. IBS also is serving as the Acumatica development partner for a new fully integrated property management specific module. This opens up an attractive upgrade path for current property management customers, and a technologically advanced solution for new clients across the board.
