NEW YORK, N.Y., Nov. 23, 2011 – Sean Brady, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. and co-founder of the firm’s Data Center Advisory Group, is slated to address the Greater New York Data Center Summit on November 29, 2011. Scheduled to run from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the event will be held at the McGraw Hill Conference Center in New York City and will feature more than 30 speakers in eight panel discussions.

“The data center summit will be a premier event,” said Brady, who joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1980, has been working on data center real estate since 1995 and completed the first co-location facility on the East Coast in 1996 with Exodus Communications. “This is a must-attend event for anyone involved in the data center field.”

Brady will be on a panel at 12:25 p.m. titled “Innovative Data Center Design and Its Impact on Marketability, Management & Operations.” He will be joined in the discussion by Arthur Pearson of Con Edison, Michael Bucheit of FiberMedia, Dennis Julian of Integrated Design Group, Josh Rabina of Sentinel Data Centers, and Brian Schafer of Highland Associates.

“We will cover a broad range of issues involving data center design and operations,” said Brady. “Topics will include everything from what makes a data center marketable, to repositioning assets, the latest data center infrastructure, new unique security and redundancy requirements, and much more.”

More than 200 senior level commercial real estate and technology executives are expected to attend. The event will also include a data center tour at Rudin Management’s 32 Avenue of the Americas in New York City.  ###
