CARSON, Calif., May 4, 2016 – Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has orchestrated the sale of the 12-building, 450,000-square-foot Carson Industrial Center. The firm’s Jeffrey Cole, Jeffrey Chiate and Ed Hernandez represented the seller, Prologis, and secured the buyer, an institutional real estate manager.

The offering of this nearly 22-acre infill site represented an unusual opportunity to acquire a critical mass of industrial product in California’s desirable South Bay submarket, according to Cole. “Institutional-quality industrial assets, especially in groupings of this size, rarely come online in South Bay,” he said.

Located on Del Amo Boulevard, the property is fully leased by 19 tenants, including Sourcecorp BPS, Coast Wire & Plastic Technology and Illumination International, among others. Its single-story, free-standing structures range from just over 13,000 square feet to nearly 88,000 square feet in a master-planned business park environment.
