26th Annual Fundraiser Benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado

AURORA, Colo., Sept. 15, 2015 – For the 26th straight year, cyclists from across North America pedaled across the scenic Rocky Mountains to raise money for the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Recently, Cushman & Wakefield Industrial cyclists Carlos Lujan of the firm’s Juarez, Mexico office and Drew McManus of the Denver office joined the team of presenting sponsor, Prologis, to support the fund-raising effort.

The Prologis team, pictured, numbered 103, the largest yet, according to team captain and Prologis Americas head of operations, Larry Harmsen. Lujan, back row, third from right, and McManus, third row, seventh from right, were “thrilled to support this tremendous cause,” said McManus.

In addition to individual rider fundraising, Cushman and Wakefield sponsored Team Prologis through an additional $15,000 donation to the hospital. “Generous sponsors like Cushman and Wakefield are critical to the continued growth of our team and our fundraising year after year.” said Harmsen.

“We are very proud of the great work of the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of the Children’s Hospital Colorado,” said John Morris,Executive Managing Director

Logistics & Industrial Service Line Lead for the Americas. “We are excited to once again support this effort with a great industry partner, Prologis.”

Located in Aurora, Children’s Hospital Colorado is the region’s only all-inclusive, non-profit pediatric hospital. Nearly 2,000 cyclists supported this year’s event, which concluded in scenic Copper Mountain. This year’s Courage Classic raised nearly $2.5 million.
