Private Situational Lender Active in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions
ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., Jan. 7, 2014 – Case Real Estate Capital LLC (Case), a private situational lender, has expanded its business line to provide loans in the $1 million to $5 million range for all commercial asset types located in Northern New Jersey and New York City. In early 2013, real estate investment industry experts Sanford Herrick and Scott Hartstein co-founded Case, which is headquartered in Rochelle Park, N.J.

“Our principals have in excess of five decades of diverse experience satisfying short and long-term requirements for a variety of owners, developers and properties including multi-family, land, retail, office or industrial,” said Herrick, managing principal of Case. “We provide borrowers with products and services depending on each situation to move businesses forward and get deals done.”

Herrick and Hartstein established Case as a private direct lender targeting transitional assets that extend beyond the traditional lending arena. Since its founding, Case has focused on loans in the $2.5 million to $25 million range for properties throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions.

Specifically, Case’s fixed-rate short-term bridge, discounted pay-off (DPO), construction, and first- and second-mortgage loans accommodate a wide range of transitional situations. From short timeframes to complex situations like storied assets and restructurings, Case is able to execute financing swiftly and efficiently. The company’s loans also infuse turnaround situations involving litigation, contaminated sites, non-cash-flowing properties, weak credit history, bankruptcies, foreclosure and property repositioning, development or redevelopment.
