Move Coincides with Expansion of Services

PARAMUS, N.J., Aug. 20, 2009 – Caryl Communications, Inc., an award-winning public relations and marketing firm, has announced a relocation of its headquarters to 40 Eisenhower Drive, Suite 203, in Paramus, N.J. The company moved from Fair Lawn, N.J. to 2,300 square feet in a prime corporate location in Paramus just off Route 17 and Century Road. Caryl Communications’ phone number, e-mail addresses and Web site – http://www.caryl.com/ – all remain the same.

Dan Johnsen of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey ( http://www.cushmanwakefield.com/) represented Caryl in the transaction. Zach Ciliotta-Young of David Hirschman Realty Company, Inc. represented the building ownership. The two-story property consists of 51,000 square feet and is 100 percent occupied by a diverse range of new and long-term tenants.

“The relocation enabled us to find beautiful and affordable space to support our team, technologies and continued growth,” said Caryl Bixon-Gordon, president of Caryl Communications. “We have full- and part-time professionals as well as an established network of specialized consultants to create one-source marketing and PR solutions as well as training, technology, and related communications services.”

“Working with Cushman & Wakefield, a Caryl Communications client for more than 16 years, was especially rewarding,” Bixon-Gordon added. “Their leasing team satisfied the tight time constraints of our move, our budget and found us perfect headquarters, combining aesthetics and function.”

Leveraging Technology, Adapting to Change has been Key to Caryl’s Success

Over the years, Caryl Communications has enhanced its services as part of a history of steady growth. Specialization in media relations combined with diversification of industries has remained at the core of its success.

“Change is an ongoing component of doing business, and in the current environment, it is vital for progress,” Bixon-Gordon noted. “Marketing and media activities have been dramatically impacted by the Internet and the recession. As a result, we have added a variety of related new services for clients in addition to copywriting and traditional public relations.”

Today, Caryl Communications functions as a content provider and offers consulting in connection with Internet and social media tools; e-mail blasts; webinars and web conferencing as well as research; photography; special events and press conferences; crisis communication; PowerPoint presentations and newsletters. The firm also provides flexible fee options to offer services to a broader client base.

The move to Paramus reaffirms the company’s commitment to growth and to its team. “While technology has paved the way for many virtual operations, the office setting still provides the foundation for strong and creative interaction,” added Bob Gordon, chief financial officer of Caryl Communications. “At the same time, we are leveraging the power of technology to offer benefits for our team such as remote access from home and telecommuting; this kind of flexibility has been an element of our success for many years and was especially helpful during the move.”
