Strategic Hire Responds to Growing Demand for Firm’s Managed IT Services

TOTOWA, N.J., April 9, 2015 – Camilo Fernandez of Kearny, New Jersey, has joined the team at Integrated Business Systems (IBS) in Totowa as a senior field engineer. The strategic hire of this 20-year industry veteran responds to stepped-up activity within the technology firm’s Managed IT Services division, according to Michael Mullin, president.

Fernandez is working directly with IBS clients, providing administration and support for their computer and networking technologies. He brings strong technical knowledge and deep experience in the implementation, analysis, organization, troubleshooting and documentation of LAN/WAN networks systems. Prior to his new position, he held network engineering and management positions with IT firms serving a range of industries including insurance, law and retail, among others.

“Coming to IBS is a great career step for me,” Fernandez noted. “This is an entrepreneurial firm with a flexible, highly professional approach to meeting client needs, and I am enjoying getting to know a great group of customers.”

Mullin noted that IBS is experiencing notable growth within the Managed Services arena. The 36-year-old boutique firm, with deep roots as a provider of property management and accounting software for New York and New Jersey commercial real estate companies, today offers a full suite of technology consulting and support services for clients in diverse businesses.

“The sheer speed of technology innovation – compounded by the escalating risks associated with collecting and protecting client information and pressing issues like cyber security – is prompting more and more small- and mid-size companies to outsource their IT function,” Mullin noted. “We are filling the role of internal chief information officer, helping them stay on top of what they need to keep their systems current and create competitive advantage.”

IBS Managed Services embraces the most powerful new and proven products to ensure reliable network infrastructure. From mobile devices and individual workstations, to enterprise servers and everything in between, IBS offers comprehensive expertise with full consulting, design, installation and support.
