HACKENSACK, N.J., August 12, 2014 – The smooth sounds of jazz are coming to Alfred Sanzari Enterprises'  Court Plaza office complex in Hackensack, N.J. On Friday, Aug. 15 starting at noon, Bulldog Jazz will perform a one-hour lunchtime concert at The Alfred and Mary Sanzari Garden, located at the corner of Main and Essex streets. Free and open to the public, the performance presents an opportunity for Court Plaza tenants, as well as those who live or work in the downtown area, to bring their lunch and enjoy live jazz music in one of downtown Hackensack's most beautiful settings. Rain date is Friday, Aug. 22.

Bulldog Jazz, a student-run ensemble from Bergen Community College, arranges and performs jazz music concerts in venues throughout Northern New Jersey. With an emphasis on student involvement, Bulldog Jazz seeks to entertain and inspire the community's interest in jazz music.

The Alfred and Mary Sanzari Garden is a public garden honoring the legacy of Alfred and Mary Sanzari, co-founders of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. The 10,000-square-foot site was designed as a place to relax and enjoy nature for members of the community as well as Court Plaza's tenants and area professionals. The garden features a fountain, brick and stone pathways and walls, benches and decorative lighting, all surrounded by lush plantings.
