Four Transactions Total 10,250 SF at Bergen County Shopping Center

HACKENSACK, N.J., Oct. 3, 2016 – Four retail tenants have renewed leases totaling 10,250 square feet at Summit Plaza in Hackensack, N.J. The 100,000-square-foot supermarket-anchored neighborhood shopping center is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.  The transactions – negotiated in-house by Jerry L. Barta, vice-president/director of leasing and marketing – include:

  • Cosmetics, health and beauty retailer Harmon® Face Values® renewed its lease for 6,100 square feet.
  • Wize Guys Pizzeria & Restaurant renewed its lease for 1,600 square feet.
  • Fresh as a Daisy, a dry cleaner, renewed their lease for 1,450 square feet.
  • The UPS Store, a retail shipping, postal, printing and business service center, renewed their lease for 1,100 square feet.

Located at 370-380 West Pleasantview Ave. at the intersection of Route 17, Summit and West Pleasantview avenues, Summit Plaza is anchored by a 62,000-square-foot Super Stop & Shop supermarket. The center’s complementary tenant mix also includes Great Expressions Dental Centers, United Tae Kwon Do Center, Juicy Platters, TITLE Boxing Club, GNC, Payless ShoeSource, RadioShack, Dress Barn, GameStop and Noble Nails (coming soon).

Summit Plaza is located in the heart of Route 17’s retail corridor near Routes 4, 46 and 80, and surrounded by 14 towns within a three-mile radius. The center serves a growing residential population of more than 100,000 people within a two-mile radius and a daytime population of more than 66,000 people within the same two miles. The marketplace offers a median household income of about $80,000.

One 1,450-square-foot retail space – suitable for a restaurant or phone store tenant – remains available at Summit Plaza.
